Products I just can't stand: Maybelline Dream Mat Powder

Hello,

So for the second post of these series, I am going to hate on Maybelline Dream Mat Powder, a really, really hyped up product who doesn't deserve it.

Firstly the packaging makes you believe there is more product, when there is a really tiny pan.

Then the product itself, it isn't mat, its a shimmer ball. When you apply it it goes on patchy, uneven and it leaves my skin with kind of like a weird, dry texture. However you get shiny within 10 minutes or less, yeah, best powder ever.

And there is not much I can say about that, just that personally for me (doesn't mean that it wont work on you) is A-W-F-U-L. Bad!

What do you think about this product? And products do you dislike?

Have a wonderful day and thanks for your time.

XOXO,

-Andrea

Zoeva Variety brush kit

Hii :D,

How are you? Im super happy today because I have been wanting to do this post for a LOOOONG time and now im finally doing it!

So lets get to it!

Firstly I would like to say that the value is amazing it cost me 70€ yup, some of you may be thinking, that is expensive, but it come with 40 brushes yes, 40. So if you do the maths, each brush is 1,75€ and it also has a brush roll.

The quality of the brushes is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, they are super soft and many of them are multipurpose. I think I will never need to buy brushes again.

First section

Second section

Third section

Fourth section, as you can see there are a few brushes
Because there are 40 and I cant talk about all of them, I decided to just talk about 5 I love.

For face, even though I love, love, love the concealer brushes, and the big orange foundation brush.

  • Stippling brush: the one in the left. It is great to apply foundation really lightly, for cream blushes, and also for really pigmented powder blushes. This brush actually lost 2 or 3 hairs but now its perfect.
  • Blush Brush: the one on the right. It is extremely soft and it is perfect for bronzer, powder and blush.
For eyes, there are all great and you get them in many different shapes and types.
  • Left one: I love to use it to smudge eyeliner and to use eyeshadow on my lower lash-line.
  • Middle one: Love it to apply shadow all over the lid, the inner tear duct, and on the brow bone.
  • Right one: Perfect for gel eyeliner, and there is one similar to this but I prefer to use this one as it makes thinner lines.
So what do you think? If you have any questions leave them in the comment section :D.

Have an absolutely amazing week!

Drugstore finds: Hean satin blush

Hi lovely people,

I want to talk about Hean blushes, I bought mine for 2,79€ and it is one of the best, most pigmented blushes I own.

Firstly mine is in the color nÂș 10, a pink with some sheen to it, and no, it won't make you look like a disco ball.

It is REALLY pigmented, you swipe your finger through it and you have enough for your cheeks, but even though its pigmentation it is easy to blend so you don't look like a clown. For its application I deeply recommend using a stippling brush, as I will apply it not so concentrated.

The texture is really soft, really nice and smooth.

I have absolutely no complaints about this blushes so I really advise you to go and buy them.

Have you tried them? What do you think about them?

Also, I know its super weird but, what books do you recommend?- Im lost since I finished the perks of being a wallflower

Have a super nice day and a super nice week.

Too Faced eye love palette + mini haul

Hi people,

I got the too faced eye love palette, and I LOVE it. It mixes shades from the natural, smoked, naked and romantic eye palettes. AND it also brings a baby eye shadow insurance.

I got this for 20€ (it was on sale), you get 8 eyeshadows each 0.9g/0.03 oz. It comes with the cards that are always with these palettes, but you can do a lot with this palette, you can do matte, shimmery, natural, day-time, night-time...

Pigmentation is so great, the texture is amazing, and they have a mix of awesome colors.

However one of the main reasons for the greatness of this product is that you can take it anywhere, for a trip or even if you want to touch up your eyeshadow.

Left to Right: Heaven-Silver Spoon- Satin Sheets-Honeymoon

Left to Right: Pushup- Smolder- Like a virgin- Ever after
Because it is really slim, it mixes matte and shimmery shades and it also has a cream matt highlight shade and a black one, you could take it to a trip with you and probably dont need more eyeshadows.

Also I bought a rimmel moisture renew lipstick, AKA the one with the purple case lol. I bought it in 800 Pink star. Like the name tells it is pink with some silver shimmer to it, but not to the point where it becomes frosty.

Have you tried any of these products? What have you recently bought?

XOXO

S.HE Top coat review

Hi:),

I bring you today a review of a product I absolutely love, but i guess you already know it by the title of this entry.

I bought this over the summer, but just started using it now. Truly I prefer this better than the Sally Hansen insta-dry top coat, because I think this makes your polish stick better to your nail, so ir doesn't get under it (which is the principal cause of chipping).

It gives a lot of shine to your nails, and you can seriously wear polish for a week and it won't chip. With the Sally Hansen one, i just wouldn't mind painting my nails, because a) I love chipping my polish. b) It would be chipped any way by the second day.

Sooo in conclusion I am in LOVE! with this top coat and btw it is also really inexpensive, not more than 5€

XOXO,

Products I just can't stand: MAC lipglasses

Hey there,

So I have decided to start a new series of posts about beauty products that I just hate, yes H-A-T-E. And to start I chose an overpriced piece of crap, yep it is Mac's lipglasses.

It is such a shame that this product is so bad, because the colors are truly beautiful.

But here is the one BIG issue with this, If you buy one you wont need hairspray for the rest of your life, the only problem is that you really dont want your hair anywhere near your lips (or at least most of the people), also if you need to keep your mouth closed for any reason this is the perfect product for you!

Oh yeah only that it is 14,50 US dollars.

So this is what I think :) agree or disagree? comment

PD: I wanted to say that there are some colors that break the rule, but not many, so BEFORE you buy or not buy one try it in the Mac counter.

XOXO

Andrea
